Pierrot

I don't know much about this band for now... but I love the little I know! It's really an original band, rather rock even though you can feel some "heavier" influences here or there, but what make their specificity (at least up to me)... is all the "syncopations" (? that's what my dictionary says... "contre-temps / syncope" in French) in their songs, not too much though: this is no prog-band, there's just enough to bring some "relief/depth" to their music. And once again this is quite an original band: you can't say "they sound like this band"! As the good metalhead that I am I prefer "heayvier" songs like Dramatic neo Anniversary / Creature (/ ...: too many to list!), but softer songs Birthday / Rebirthday / SACRED! (/...: too many to list once again!), but anyway, until now, I never found any song of them I thought was "bad". I really think you should give them an ear, would it be only to know their style, after that you chose wether you like it or not!

That's all, I just wanted to say that I absolutely don't understand what I love so much about them, it should be too soft for me, but I don't care in the end, I only know that I get a tear and/or a giant smile every time I hear a song of them, I've had some "special feeling" for Pierrot (the "popular character") ever since I was born, now is a new reason for saying "I LOVE PIERROT!", and I love them and that's all! (+as a special bonus, they have the most stupid humour, that often makes me exercise my "abdominals", and Kirito's lyrics often make my brain work a little/lot, and I love it!)
To sum up: LONG LIVE PIERROT!

And if you wonder about "Pierresque-vocabulary", you should go to http://www.geocities.com/tanyball/dictionary.htm, the rest of the website ("kikurui Pierrot") is quite well made... but not updated anymore since 2001: all of the info there is quite old...
