Siam Shade
I don't know much about this band, except that they like(d? I think I read they splitted, but I often read biographies or anything "in present", as if the band still existed...) 80's heavy/glam, like Motley Crüe or Skid Row... and you obviously hear it! It remains rather soft, they didn't reinvent the style, but still it's really pleasant and to listen to (and very good singer)!

I only wanted to say that the band indeed splitted up (getting information about
them (in other languages than Japanese!) is rather difficult!), each ex-member
being now busy with his solo-activities. Hideki, singer, formed Acid... where
he sang at first (their first two mini-albums are really good!), but he recently
decided that keyboards were enough for him! While he (FINALLY!) used a "rougher/heavier"
voice in this band! I mean he was improving! (the frustrating thing with Siam
Shade was that you hear that the singer could have a really excellent voice...
if he accepted to "work over it" a little more... or the rare times
he used it in a definitely "heavy/rough" way... but it was REALLY
rare in Siam Shade!) GO BACK SINGING, DAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(+ Japanese fans let him know they didn't really agree with this decision on
Acid's forum... and yyou'd better be careful with former Siam Shade's fans:
rumour says that they got into a fight with Acid members soon after the band
was formed, because "Hideki is a member of Siam Shade, damn it! who are
these guys who want to take -our- Hideki, damn it!"... extremists, sometimes...)
Daita (lead guitarist) seems to be considered as the "extra-guest"
on some Japanese musicians tours, releasing an album in-between sometimes (I
especially recommand Euphony!). And others... either I didn't have an occasion
to listen to what they did until now, or it didn't "strike" me...
